NENA live at the Mercedes-Benz Arena

German pop star Nena is set to return to the Uber Arena on November 6, 2015 as part of her "Live On Stage"-Tour. 

Born 1960 in Hagen as Gabriele Susanne Kerner, Nena first completed an apprenticeship as a jeweler before she decided to kick off her musical carreer as a 19-year-old. While her first single "Nur geträumt" would already become a great success, the follow-up single "99 Luftballons" soon sold millions of copies worldwide. She then started her solo career with "Wunder geschehen", followed by numerous pop records and albums containing children's song. In 2002, Nena celebrated a phenomenal comeback when recorded new versions of her old songs with ex-bandmember Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen.

Her creativity and versatility did not only show in her collaborations with Kim Wilde and the publication of her autobiography, but in her social commitment of co-founding the first democratic school in Germany. Today, Nena can look back on 23 solo albums and 6 records with her band. In 2015, Nena is to return to Berlin on he "Live On Stage"-Tour.
