We love MMA at the Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin

“We Love MMA“, the biggest national MMA-series, is to come to the Uber Arena on 10 December 2016 for the first time! The 27th edition of this event promises a spectacular fight card. Fans can look forward to a total of twelve Mixed Martial Arts fights in Berlin’s biggest arena one including one women's fight as well.

Minimum age for admission is 18 years.

Mixed Martial Arts

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full contact sport that allows a wide variation of fighting techniques and mixes traditional and nontraditional tournament fighting ways. The rules allow punching and ground combat techniques, such as Boxing, Kick Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Kung Fu, Judo and Grappling, so that every competitor with different background can encounter each other. The events of the “We Love MMA” series are carried out under the international rules and standards of the “Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts”. The strict compliance of the US-Government approved regulations is controlled by the Grappling and Mixed Martial Arts Association e.V. (GAMMA) based in Berlin. The judges, represented by referees, timekeepers and transcript writers will be responsible for this purpose.
