Die Band, die 1969 mit dem Song "Melody Maker" in den Charts noch vor den Beatles lag und acht Jahre später mit "Rumours" zu Weltstars aufstiegen, wird in der O2 World in Bestbesetzung auftreten. Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham und Stevie Nicks - sie alle sind dabei.
1967 lernten sich Mick Fleetwood, John McVie und Peter Green bei der Band "The Bluesbreakers" kennen. Sie gründeten die Blues-Band "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac". Ein Jahr später erschien ihr erstes Album "Fleetwood Mac". Ihr bis heute erfolgreichstes Album ist ohne Zweifel das 1977 erschienene Hitalbum "Rumours". Mit über 40 Millionen verkauften Exemplaren und 43 Platinauszeichnung allein in den USA, UK und Australien zählt "Rumours" zu den erfolgreichsten Popalben, die jemals produziert worden sind.
Die Fleetwood Mac Live 2013 Tour markiert den 35. Jahrestag des Erscheinens von "Rumours". Aus diesem Anlass veröffentlichte Rhino Records eine mit umfassendem Bonusmaterial ausgerüstete neue Ausgabe von "Rumours".
