The record-champion of the German ice hockey league has been playing their home games at the Uber Arena since season 2008/2009. The tenth-time Championship winner is the most successful team of the DEL.
EuroBasket 2015
The EuroBasekt 2015 - the European Basketball Championship - is to take place in Germany, France, Croatia and Latvia. The group matches of group B are set to be played at the Mercedes-Benz Arena (o2 World Berlin until 1 July 2015) from 5 to 10 November 2015.
Laver Cup
A tennis tournament unlike any other, the Laver Cup pits six of the best men's tennis players from Europe against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world over three days of intense team competition. Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal will join Team Europe later this year for the seventh edition of the Laver Cup, to be held at Uber Arena in Berlin from September 20-22. Nadal will team up with fellow Spaniard and World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz, World No.4 Daniil Medvedev and World No.5 Alexander Zverev as Team Europe bid to win back the Laver Cup under the watchful eye of captain Bjorn Borg. Australian No.1 Alex de Minaur and Americans Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul are the first to line up for John McEnroe’s Team World as they bid to defend their Laver Cup title.
